Our client, a leading provider of high-demand public security solutions to the Government/Defense sector, is looking to hire an experienced and high-caliber technology senior sales and business development professional. As a key senior member of the SEA team, you will drive sales strategy in the SEA region. This role is expected to have a good track record of winning new markets, exceeding revenue targets, and being able to drive strong relationships with a C-level contact base in the region.
The ideal candidate should have experience in Software or Technical Sales. You possess a demonstrated ability to develop and lead a high-performing sales team. Knowledge of the Defense, Security, and Government landscape is an advantage. Lastly, you should be open to travel as required.
You will be involved in activities such as:
- Manage and grow revenue and market share at designated agencies to maximize customer satisfaction and achieve the company's strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ultimately drive revenue growth
- Develop and execute account strategy by collaborating with the account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions
- Support execution of strategy at the account level
- Work with and bring in experts/specialists where required
- Responsible for forecasting, keeping management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion, gathering intelligence on competitor activity, and giving feedback to marketing
You will possess:
- Significant experience in a quota-carrying sales and business development role, with a proven track record of growing and scaling businesses.
- Strong aptitude to articulate complex solution offerings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferably, well-developed relationships within the public sector, law enforcement, public safety, and defense sectors
- Experience and a robust network in key territories such as Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines, with an understanding of local market dynamics.
- Exceptional skills in cultivating new business and managing long-term client relationships, with an emphasis on delivering solutions that meet unique client needs.
