This role will lead the commercial strategy in Malaysia, building strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and payment service providers. The role requires a deep understanding of the fintech/payment ecosystem and proven ability to drive revenue growth through consultative selling, strategic partnerships, and solution-based sales.


Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and close new business opportunities in banking, fintech, telco, and payments.
  • Develop market entry strategies for Malaysia and ASEAN.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet revenue goals.

Client Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Build long-term client partnerships by aligning solutions with business needs.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage full deal cycles.

Strategic Leadership

  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Work with regional teams to align sales strategies with corporate goals.
  • Share market insights and competitor updates to guide product strategy.

Team & Collaboration

  • Partner with product, consulting, and delivery teams to ensure client success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years in enterprise sales, with 5+ years in payments/fintech.
  • Proven record in closing large enterprise/financial institution deals.
  • Strong network with banks, processors, telcos, and regulators in Malaysia/ASEAN.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
